Cats, and Other Pictures

Here’s a picture of our cat, Ketzela
Ketzela is Yiddish for “Kitten.”
1977-25 June 1996 R.I.P.
Harley, a baby at the time of this picture,
is now our oldest cat, although she still
thinks she is the baby and wonders why
the other cats aren’t taking care
of her any more.

Teddy Bear Trillin
This is Teddy Bear...
Teddy is named for our realtor ;-). He died in 2002.
...and this is Trillin
Trillin is named after Calvin Trillin,
the writer, for her
sense of high melodrama
and because she trills. She also died in 2002.
No more turkey!
This is the message that the cats left for me on this webpage.

A friend’s um, unusual car:
Pink and black Suzuki
This car belongs to Mary Amanda Fairchild, who decorated it herself. This scanned photo really doesn’t do it justice, and you can’t see the detail you really need for full appreciation. For instance, you can’t see the tanks and the Tank Girl inscriptions on the hood. ;-) Here’s a detail of the sign on the door...
...and a blow-up of some of the stuff on the hood. You can see that Wonder Woman is standing there along with the tanks.

Here’s picture of my partner Audrey Thompson, and Trillin. Click on the picture to see Audrey’s web page, which includes her vita.

This is the point that marks the start of the meridian between Paris
and the equator, which establishes the Metric System.

I figure the Harley-Davidson logo used above next to the picture of Harley D. the cat falls under this “personal use” and non-commercial provision. If you can figure how I can make a profit by putting a motorcycle company logo next to a cat, let me know. Just to be on the safe side, the Harley-Davidson logo (barshld3.png) is a registered ® trademark of H-D Michigan, Inc. (“Harley-Davidson”).
